Obituary of Pota (Perotis) Kouklamanis

Pota (Perotis) Kouklamanis, 84, of Beverly, Ma. died Tuesday At the Mass. General Hospital, Boston after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Fotios Kouklamanis who died in 1990. She was born on October 25, 1917 in the village of Sperhoyia in Kalamata, Greece to The daughter of the late Anastasios and Vassiliki (Platania) Perotis and had resided there Before moving to Massachusetts 31 years ago. She loved to sew and became the head seamstress for 20 years at the L.H. Rogers Clothing Store in Salem, Ma. from 1972 until her retirement in 1992. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sons and daughter-in-laws, Dimitrios and Vicky Zorgianos of Kalamata, Greece, Peter and Anastasia Kouklamanis and Ernest and Debbie Kouklamanis all of Beverly, Ma., a granddaughter, Potula Kouklamanis of Beverly, 2 step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Peter of Beverly and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Evangelia Chronis, Dina Petropoulos, Marika Moustos and Themistoklis Perotis. Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Conway Facility at 12 Chestnut St., Peabody of the Conway , Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home followed by a Services in St. Vasilios Greek Church, Peabody at 10:00 a.m. Burial will Be in Central Cemetery, Beverly. Visiting hours on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
