Obituary of James M. Kipriades

PEABODY—James Kipriades, 79, died at Putnam Farm Assisted Living Facility in Danvers on Sunday May 15, 2011. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late George and Virginia (Kipouras) Kipriades. He graduated from Peabody High School, and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Kipriades was a Fine Jewelry Retailer, and was a manager of the Jewelry Department at the former Jordan Marsh in Peabody. Jim was a longtime member of the Masons, Jordan Lodge of Peabody, and a member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody. He was an avid Bruins fan. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Monique Kepreades of NC; a niece Virginia Kepreades of Greensboro, NC; a great-niece, Muriel Chantel Leucker of Switzerland, and other family and friends on the North Shore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Charles Kepreades and John Kipreades. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Thursday May 19, 2011 at 1 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
