Obituary of Omer J. LeBlanc

Omer J. LeBlanc MIDDLETON Omer J. LeBlanc, 80, beloved husband of Eleanor (Shanosky) LeBlanc, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Alyre and Eva (Blair) LeBlanc. He lived there in his youth and attended Lynn public schools. Mr. LeBlanc was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 25 and worked as a Truck Driver, then a Dock Worker with Shulman Air Freight of Boston where he was employed until his retirement. He loved living life simply, enjoyed the outdoors taking care of his vegetable garden, being one with nature and observing all the wildlife, especially deer at his family’ s farm in South Newbury, VT. He loved Country & Western music, and played guitar, and always enjoyed a family camping trip. He is survived by: his wife, Eleanor (Shanosky) LeBlanc of Middleton, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage; three sons, Roy LeBlanc of Middleton, Timothy LeBlanc and Robert LeBlanc, both of Danvers; two daughters, Diane York of Peabody and Christine Earle of Derry, NH; five grandchildren, Douglas York, Jr., of Danvers, Michelle LeBlanc and Christen Cone, both of Peabody, Corey Earle of Derry, NH, and Leann LeBlanc of Danvers; one great-grandson, Gabriel Trybend of Peabody; one sister, Veronica Little of Maine, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to his Funeral Ceremony held on Saturday at 11:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut ST. location, Peabody. A visitation will precede from 10 to 11:30 AM. Following the ceremony, cremation will take place and urn burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton next we
