Obituary of Eric R. Pelser

Eric Pelser PEABODY—Eric R. Pelser, 50, beloved husband of Wenda (Wood) Pelser of Peabody, died suddenly on Saturday June 25, 2011, after being rushed to Beverly Hospital. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Leonard and Herma (Bloom) Pelser. He graduated from Peabody High School, and went on to study Culinary Arts at Essex Agricultural School in Danvers. He lived in Peabody for most of his life. Mr. Pelser worked in sales for a variety of food service companies, including Marriott, Sysco, Dannon, and Community Fruit Service of Rhode Island. Eric enjoyed golf, Boston sports teams and especially the Patriots. He was a loving husband and father who supported his children through their activities and games. His compassion and care extended beyond his family by rescuing Basset Hound dogs. He will be remembered as a dedicated friend as well, along with his wonderful, versatile culinary skills as he cooked for family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all he touched, including his wife Wenda (Wood) Pelser of Peabody, with whom he shared 8 years of marriage; his children, Thomas Pelser and Katlyn Pelser both of Wakefield and step-children Gabriella Silvagni and Juliana Silvagni both of Peabody; his brothers, Jim Pelser of FL, Michael Pelser of Canton, and Stephen Pelser of Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended Wood family, and friends throughout the area. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Tuesday morning from 11 AM to 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 12 Noon in the funeral home.
