Obituary of Robert W. "Bobby" Cleary

Robert W. Bobby” Cleary, 59, of Newmarket, NH, formerly of Danvers, MA, husband of Rosemary “Rosie” (Cranney) Cleary with whom he shared 27years of marriage, died on Thursday, June 29, 2011 with his family at his side at the Hyder House Hospice House in Dover, NH. Bobby was born in Salem on February 29, 1952 son of the late William and Margaret (Spears) Cleary. He was raised in Salem and graduated from St. Mary’s Boys High School in Lynn Class of 1970. Following his marriage to the love of his life, Rosie, they made their home in Danvers. In 2007, they moved to Newmarket, NH, from Maine where they had resided since 2003. Bobby was employed for 20 years as an automotive parts counter person at Hawkes Auto Parts in Peabody before moving to Maine. Bobby enjoyed being with family and always cherished time spent with his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his wife of Newmarket, NH, Bobby is survived by a brother, James “Jim” Cleary and his wife Karen of Salem; 2 sisters, Louise Clancy of Georgetown, and Roberta Tamilio and her husband Victor of Beverly; a brother-in-law, Paul Cranney of Peabody; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and 9 great nieces and great nephews. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bobby’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
