I worked with Bob for a number years at the Stop & Shop Companies and thought very dearly of him. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I have very fond memories of him. My mother in law who passed away two years ago worked closely with Bob. She was union rep for the photo lab. For those of you who remember the years of the Stop and Shop photo lab you'll remember how long ago that was! She adored Bob. My thoughts and prayers go to all of you. Your husband, father, grandfather was a wonerful man.

Mary Lapanus, Attleboro, MA
We used to live across the street from Bob & Barbara @ 3 Trask Rd. I remeber how gracious Bob & Barbara were welcoming our family to the neighborhood when we moved in. I used to talk with Bob all the time and remember what a nice man he was from the beginning. We are just so sad to hear of his passing. Our condolences to his wife Barbara and family.

I've known Bob almost my entire life....while he was in my older sister's class, Bob was also best friends with my best friend's older brother. He and I would often be found eating lunch at the Arbetter's house! Bob was tons of fun, always a very sincere and kind guy, and I was delighted when Barb announced at bridge one night that she and Bob were getting married. What a great couple!!! Bob always came to our high school reunions with Barb; it was wonderful seeing him... Much love and prayers go to Barb and the children and grandchildren. Rest in peace, Bob...you will be sorely missed.

Gretchen

Sorry to hear about Bob. We were childhood friends and my memories of him are from that time, as kids and in the local schools. He was always loyal to his friends, impeccably honest, and just a nice guy. I especially remember the booth we ran at the Saugus fair in front of the town hall, about 1944-45, or so. We had a great time doing it, and made a few bucks as well. Bob stopped in my store in Mystic several years back and reminded me of that venture.
Rest in peace.

You will always be in my heart Dad, I will miss you every day of my life. You taught me so much in life and the courage and strength you faced in death. No more pain, back with your "Buddy" Alex may you both watch over us and guide us especially now when we are so sad. Love Tracey (A.K.A. TRixie)
b
