Obituary of Donald Joseph Taylor

Peabody, February 20, 2002. Donald Joseph Taylor, 44, of Sewall St., Peabody, died unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon at the Salem Hospital after being stricken at Home. Born in Saugus, he was the son of Lillian (Brennan) Taylor and the late George C. Taylor, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and had attended Peabody Public Schools. He was a self-employed carpenter who had worked all over the North Shore. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He also enjoyed bike riding and fishing, especially off the Gloucester Coast. Besides his loving mother he is survived by 2 brothers and a sisters-in-law, George & Maryann Taylor of Peabody, and Richard & Leslie Taylor of Boca Raton, Florida; a sister, Jeanne Taylor of Peabody; a long time friend, Sue Peters of Danvers, and several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility (978) 531-0398.
