Obituary of Margaret (Germano) Sheehan

Margaret (Germano) Sheehan, 82, of Danvers, and formerly of Peabody, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Pilgrim House Nursing & Rehab Center in Peabody with her family by her side after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Donald F. Sheehan. She was born in Peabody on June 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Carlo and Angela (Cornetti) Germano and was a graduate of Peabody High School in 1946. She had been employed as an office bookkeeper in the leather industry and later at New England Sportswear Company in Peabody for 20 years. She later worked at Navajo Freight Lines office in Peabody prior to her retirement. Marge loved to do crossword puzzles and also did crocheting and some embroidery. She had been a member of the Danvers Senior Center and enjoyed the trips to Foxwoods. She cherished mostly seeing her grandchildren grow and mature into young adults. She is survived by her children, Kevin Sheehan and his wife Dianne of Peabody, Anne Lyon and her husband Scott and Carla Brancaccio all of Danvers and Catherine Dacey- Sheehan of Salem, her brothers, George Germano of Peabody and Frank Germano of Indiana, her eight cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Guido Germano and recently Mary Dionne. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St., Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
