Obituary of Thomas Paul Greene

Thomas Paul Greene PEABODY—Thomas Paul Greene, 53, beloved son of Adrienne and James Libbey of Peabody, passed away peacefully in the comforting presence of his family on Tuesday July 19, 2011. Born in Boston, he grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1975. He later received a degree in Finance & Accounting from U-Mass Boston. He recently lived in Haverhill. Tom found peace and joy outdoors. He worked in several trades which allowed him to be in the outdoor environment he treasured most. His gifts for gardening showed amazing results with vegetables he grew and shared them with family and friends. Tom was a deep and methodical thinker, had a passion for preserving the environment, loved the woods and swamps, and was interested in history and science. Tom’s thirst for knowledge took him on many journeys that allowed him to feed his curiosity and enrich his soul. He loved his family and friends, and was loved by many for which he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents, James and Adrienne (Donati) Libbey of Peabody; a daughter, Jennifer Di Thomas Moura of Peabody; a granddaughter, Madison Moura of Peabody; his siblings and their spouses, Robert & Viki Greene of Billerica, Eric & Nancy Boudreau of Groveland, Donald & Michelle Greene of Wells, ME, James & Sue Libbey of Lyndonville, VT, Steven & Marie Kane of Reading, PA, and many nieces and nephews. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Monday July 25, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody. Urn burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to either the Emmaus House, at Emmaus Inc., P.O.
