Obituary of Lena M (Villani) Raizin
Lena M. (Villani) Raizin, 97, of Peabody, died Sunday morning at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of late Everett Raizin.
Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Aldorisio) Villani. She was raised and educated in Revere and has lived in Peabody for the past few years.
Lena worked as a Sales manager for Patti’s Fashions in Chelsea for many years before she retired many years ago.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Marshall D’Avanzo of Peabody, Cynthia and Maurice Raizin of Peabody and Pamela and Arthur Marino of Phoenix, AZ, her beloved grandchildren, Blane Raizin and his fiance Roseane , Dr. Mark and his wife Jennifer Raizin, Lori and her husband Steven Hogan, Amy and her husband Marco Pallotta, and Melissa Marino and Matthew Marino, her great grandchildren, Michael Raizin, Naomi Raizin, Owen Raizin, Brady Pallotta, Tyler Pallotta, and Blake Hogan.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy can be made in her name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
