Obituary of Sandra A. (Delaney) Malin

Sandra A. (Delaney) Malin, 65, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday morning. Born in Chelsea, she was the twin-daughter of Stephen & Hermina (Schirl) Malin. She lived in Malden and Everett in her youth, and attended Everett schools. She graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1955. She lived in Peabody for the last 40 years. Ms.Malin worked first with Repair Service for New England Telephone in the Malden office. She returned to work as an Office Clerk with Pediatric Health Care at the North Shore Mall location. She was a very creative person, and loved arts & crafts, an avid gardener, but mostly enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Jill Delaney of Peabody; four daughters, Terri Delaney of Peabody, Patricia & Frank Splaine of Hamilton, Laurie Loureiro of Danvers, and Nancy & Donald Stapleton of Foxboro; loving grandmother of nine; a dear twin sister of Mrs. Ronald (Lynda) Mini of Peabody; and loving aunt of Tony & Sabrina Mini of Danvers and Dyane & Andrew Cotreau of Manchester.Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her funeral, held on Monday at 8 AM from the Cahill-Brodeur facility at 20 Church St. of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 AM in St. John’ s Church, Peabody. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to Haven from Hunger, Wallis St., Peabody, MA 01960.
