Obituary of Linda M. (Lawlor) Voyer

Linda (Lawlor) Voyer PEABODY—Linda (Lawlor) Voyer, beloved wife of Paul with whom she shared 44 years of marriage, died on September 20, 2011, at the age of 64, surrounded by her wonderful family. She was born in Salem, daughter of the late Fred and Virginia (O’Brien) Lawlor. She graduated from Danvers High School and Chandler School for Women in Boston. She lived most of her life in Peabody. Linda worked as an executive secretary during most of her 40 year career before retiring. Her main interests were her family, growing flowers to share with others, nature, traveling to Maine and sharing time with her special church family. She is survived by her devoted husband Paul of Peabody, her loving children Michael of Los Angeles, CA and Stephanie of Ipswich; her best friend, Linda Edwards of Peabody; a special brother-in-law, Thomas & his wife Rosemary Voyer of Swampscott; a sister-in-law, Valerie & her husband Robert Perron of IL; a brother-in-law, Ronald Michaud & his partner Lynn Beaulieu of ME; a brother, Richard & his wife Holly Durkee of Danvers; a special Godson, Andrew Wilder of No. Attleboro, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Wilder and sister-in-law Catherine Michaud. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 10 AM in the Lake Shore United Methodist, Lake Shore Park, Peabody. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, Linda would like you to do something loving in her name be it a donation or an act of kindness to your fellow man.
