Obituary of Dominic "Papa" Palmariello
Dominic “Papa” Palmariello, 95, of Peabody and formerly of Quincy, died Wednesday afternoon at his home surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Julia Marie (Gavell) Palmariello.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Polcari) Palmariello. He was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Boston English High School. He later lived in Quincy and for the past 17 years, he has lived in Peabody.
Dominic worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a plumber for over 25 years before retiring.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Danielle Palmariello of Norwell, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Thomas Twiss and Maria and Barry Bushway, all of Peabody, a brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Janet Palmariello of West Roxbury, two sisters, Laura and Irene Palmariello, both of Malden, nine grandchildren, Domenic, Adam, Christian, Brianna, Amanda, Lauren, Kyllian, Addison, and Molly and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Pasquale, Joseph, Mary, Carmella, and Josephine Palmariello, and Margaret Sapachetti.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Chestnut St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Church, 16 Church St., Peabody, MA 01960.
