Obituary of Peter J. Bick

Peter J. Bick, 66, of Peabody, died Friday surrounded by his family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a short illness. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Beverly Ann (Demeule) Bick. He was born in Peabody, MA on April 19, 1945, the son of Louise (Ciman) Bick and the late Anthony J. Bick and was raised, educated and resided in Peabody all his life. He had been employed at the Eastman Geletine Corp. of Peabody for over 30 years prior to his retirement 10 years ago. Peter enjoyed going camping and fishing at the Country Shores in Kingston, NH and also liked to go bowling. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Aruba. He is survived by his wife and mother both of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and James Sheedy of Danvers, MA, three sons, Brian and his wife Carissa Bick of Peabody and Paul and Peter Bick both of Ayer, MA, his cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Emily and Kyle Sheedy of Danvers, Patrick Bick of Peabody and Bryanna and Caitlyn Cunningham of Georgia, a nephew, Jean Bentas of Peabody. He was the brother of the late Russell and Anthony Bick. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, Suite 102-B, Danvers, MA 01923 in his memory.
