Obituary of Allan C Greene II

Allan C. Greene II, 61, of Peabody and formerly of Medford, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, September 25, 2011 at Salem Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Phaneuf) Greene of Peabody with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Allan and Gertrude Greene. He was raised and educated in Medford and has lived in Peabody for the past few years. Allan worked as a printer for the Benjamin Franklin Printing Company in Boston before he retired. Besides his loving wife of 40 years, he is survived by his chidlren, Alllan C. Greene III and his wife Melinda of Indianapolis, IN, Christine Madison of FL, Kathleen Pontbriand of Medford, Tina Davis of Peabody, Emma Phaneuf of RI, and John Fano of Malden, brother of Kevin, Joseph, and Sheila, grandfather of Janalle, Briana, Vanessa, Daniel and his wife Melissa, and Christine and is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Joe Fano. A private family service will be held at a later date.
