Obituary of Margaret H. (Burns) Swiderski

Margaret H. (Burns) Swiderski PEABODY—Margaret H. (Burns) Swiderski, 83, beloved wife of the late Albert Swiderski, died Monday October 17, 2011 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (LaRocque) Burns. She grew up in Lynn, and graduated from St. John’s High School in Peabody. She then studied nursing at Essex Agricultural School. She lived in Peabody for the last 60 years. Mrs. Swiderski was a licensed practical nurse at Salem Hospital over 14 years. Margaret enjoyed making rugs through a hooking process, also ceramics, and travel which included many trips to Bermuda or Hawaii. She enjoyed quiet gatherings with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Michaud of Dunnellon, FL; a son, Albert J. Swiderski of Rochester, NH; a brother, Robert Burns of Saugus, and many nieces and nephews, and extended family with brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death, besides her parents and husband, by a brother Edward Burns. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Thursday October 20, 2011 at 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30 – 11:45 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
