Obituary of Edward M. Stolar

E Edward M. Stolar, 46, a resident of Georgetown for the past 12 years, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning. He was born in Springfield, MA, on January 11, 1959, the son of Michael Stolar and the late Nancy (Quinn) Stolar. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield and later graduated from North Adams State College. He received his master’ s degree from No Carolina State. He worked for IBM after graduate school and had a career in IT consulting. He later went on to run his own recruitment business. He enjoyed outdoor activities and loved hiking, fishing and skeet shooting. Surviving him is the family he cherished: his wife, Vanessa (Anezis) Stolar, and their 2 daughters, Rachel and Katherine of Georgetown; his father, Michael Stolar of Springfield, MA and his sister, Lori McKay of No. Kingston, RI; his grandparents, Rita and Edward Tremble of Longmeadow, MA; his mother and father-in-law, John and Helen Anezis of Peabody, 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Maria and Robert Gauvain of Georgetown, Stephanie and Joseph Najjar and Steve and Jeanine Anezis all of Peabody and Jennifer and Nathan Gravelle of Amesbury and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility. A Funeral Service will be held there at 5:00 PM.
