Obituary of Salvatricia "Sally" (Mallia) Dullea

Salvatricia “Sally” (Mallia) Dullea, 89, of Peabody, died Friday evening at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late John J. Dullea. Born in Middlebury, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late John and Palma (Belluardo) Mallia. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Sally was a stay at home mom who enjoyed raising her children and later enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren in all of their endeavors. Sally enjoyed playing bingo and loved to cook, especially her Italian food. Sally is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Dullea of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Edward Augulewicz of Peabody, her sisters, Carmen Stortstrom of Maryland, Grace Dutille of Harwich, and Sarah Cena of Peabody and is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Daniel Dullea and sister of the late Mary Zorzonello. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 CHURCH ST., DOWNTOWN LOCATION, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy can be made in her name to the Pilgrim Nursing Rehab Center, C/O Activities Fund, 96 Forest St., Peabody, MA 01960.
