Obituary of Madeline R. (MacDonald) Rossignoll

Madeline R. (MacDonald) Rossignoll PEABODY—Madeline R. (MacDonald) Rossignoll, 85, beloved wife of the late Thomas S. Rossignoll, died Saturday evening at the Pilgrim House Rehab and Skilled Nursing Home in Peabody after a long illness. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rosella (Nestor) MacDonald. She grew up in Somerville, and lived in Peabody for nearly 50 years. Madeline enjoyed living a life of simplicity, taking walks, listening to music, and was at peace with her nurturing role of mother and homemaker. She was thrilled when taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Thomas J. & his wife Barbara Rossignoll of Peabody; a daughter, Joanne Rossignoll of Lynn; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother Charles MacDonald of Maine, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by her brothers Ronald and Edward MacDonald. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather after cremation for a visitation on Wednesday November 2, 2011 from 6 – 8 P.M., with a Funeral Ceremony at 7:15 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
