PEABODY—Denice A. (Putnam) Teague, 64, passed away peacefully at the North Shore Medical Center---Salem Hospital on Tuesday November 8, 2011.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Harold Putnam, Sr. of Peabody and the late Ruth (Craven) Putnam. She grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School.
Denice had an independent spirit which she used to guide her through life. She was gifted doing crafts, and was very much an entrepreneur. She worked as a medical secretary, owned a catering company, operated the Gift Shop at the former King’s Grant in Danvers, was a supplier with R & E Enterprises, ran a cleaning service, and was a transcriptionist for court stenographers.
She is survived by a son, Ryan Toy of Peabody; a daughter, Emily Teague of Peabody; her father, Harold Putnam, Sr. of Peabody; a brother, Harold & his wife Betty Anne Putnam, Jr. of Beverly, a sister Sandra P. Martin of Center Ossipee, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday November 11, 2011 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 11:30 A.M.
