Obituary of Patricia Kay Lindberg

Patricia Kay “Patty” Lindberg, 50, of Kingston, MA and formerly of Peabody, MA, died peacefully Wednesday evening in the presence of her family after a courageous five year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Lynn, Ma on April 3, 1961, the daughter of Charles W. and Eleanor J. (Murphy) Lindberg and was raised in Peabody, MA. She was a graduate of Peabody Vets. Mem. High School in 1979 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Merrimac College in 1983. Following her education, she had resided on the south shore living in Weymouth, Hanover and Pembroke before moving to Kingston 20 years ago. Patty was first employed as an accountant with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Auditing division for many years. She later formed and owned the ABA accounting Group in Pembroke for the past 20 years. She enjoyed being with her family and seeing her young children grow and develop and sharing her time with them. They enjoyed going up to Wakondah Pond in Moultonborough, NH in the summers spending time with members of her family. Patty is survived by her parents of Peabody, MA, her children, Charles W. Linberg III and Ashley W. Lindberg ,both of Kingston, MA, her siblings and their spouses, Charles W. and Laura Lindberg Jr., of Portland, CT., John S. Lindberg of Peabody, Sharon A. Griffin and Kevin Griffin on Millis, MA, Susan J. and George Buck of Seabrook, NH and Diane M. and Stephen Rule of Dracut, MA a special niece, Danielle and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, So. Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Faulkner Hospital, 1153 Center St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 in her memory.
