Obituary of Margaret Papit

Margaret Papit, 68, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died Thursday afternoon at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Dhanookdharry Radhakisson. Born in Trinidad, she was the daughter of the late Papit and Poptie (Dookie) Chinoo. She was raised and educated in Trinidad before immigrating to the United States about 25 years ago. She lived in Lynn for over 20 years and has spent the last 5 years living in Peabody. Margaret was very social and loved to interact with people and she enjoyed singing as well. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lystra and Haroon Khan of North Andover, Sita Rajgobin of Lynn and Sandra and Joey Ramroop of Peabody, and is also survived by a brother, three sisters, four grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her service will be held on Monday at 12:00 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody
