Obituary of Jared R Collins

Jared R. Collins, 28, of Lynn and formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home. Born in Salem, he was the son of John Collins of Lynn and the late Joanne (Gioia) Collins. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Jared was working for Aaron’s Rental Company in Lynn for the past month. He enjoyed playing hockey, listening to music, reading, and watching movies. His most memorable was the time he spent last Christmas with his family in Amsterdam. Besides his father, he is survived by his brother, Trevor Collins of Lynn, his maternal grandmother, Gloria Gioia of Peabody, his paternal grandmother, Madonna Collins of Peabody and is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, 17 R Chestnut St., Peabody to which relatives and friend are kindly invited to attend. At the request of the family, there are no visiting hours and a private burial will take place.
