Obituary of Glenn G. Clark Jr.

Glen G. Clark Jr., 86, of Peabody, Ma and formerly of Melrose, Died peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2001 at his residence surrounded by his loving Family. He was born in Haverhill, MA on May 29, 1925, the son of the late Glenn G. and Mildred (Eastman) Clark Sr. and was raised in Salisbury. He was a graduate of Amesbury High School in 1943 and then entered the US Navy where he served in WW 11 as a gunner and pilot. Upon his discharge, he graduated from Bentley College and worked as a CPA for many years. He then became comptroller and later vice presient at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy for 24 years retiring In 1990. He loved to travel both domestic and foreign and he enjoyed doing puzzles and the game of Scrabble. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elinor (Bickford) Clark of Peabody, his children, Waren Clark and Ross Clark and his wife Eleanor all of Melrose, Beverly Manning of Kingston, NH and Julie Clark of Wilmington, MA, a sister Sylvia Bowman of Illinois and his cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey and Timothy, Nicholas , Connor and Emily Clark and Adrienne and David Manning. A private family service is planned. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923 in his memory.
