Obituary of Beverly Gettler

GETTLER, Beverly A. (Varga) Of Peabody, Nov. 18. Daughter of Louis and Julia Varga of Malden, Loving Mother of Linda Ethridge and her husband Wiston of Peabody and Edward, A. Gettler Jr. and his wife Theresa of Wilmington, and Grandmother to their children Joseph and Nicholas. Adored Sister to Robert Varga of Wakefield and Walter Varga of Peabody. Aunt to Kim, Mark, Kristin, David and Jamie. A Memorial Mass will be held for Beverly on Saturday, Dec. 3 at St. Adelaide's Church, 712 Lowell Street Peabody at 10am. Beverly grew up in Malden, graduated from Everett High and lived over 50 years in Peabody. She retired from Filenes Department Store of Peabody with over 11 years of service. Gardening was her passion, and loved her family around her always.
