Obituary of Mary Pierzchala

Mary (Chojnacki) Pierzchala, 78, of Peabody, died early Tuesday morning at her daughter‘s home following a lengthy illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Pierzchala. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Chojnacki. She was raised and educated in Chelsea and upon marrying her husband Thomas, she moved to Peabody where she has lived for the past 48 years. While living in Chelsea, she was a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Stanislaus Church. Mary enjoyed reading, but family was the utmost importance to her and she enjoyed the time she spent with her children and later her grandchildren in all of their endeavors. Mary had a strong faith and was a long time parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Peabody. She will be dearly missed by all. Mary is survived by her three loving sons, Thomas and his wife Mary Pierzchala, Michael and Madeleine Pierzchala, and Mark Pierzchala, all of Peabody and her daughter, Elaine Guzofski and her significant other Ed Lendall, both of Peabody, her brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Anne Chojnacki of Easton, and also is survived by her four devoted grandchildren, Diane and Erin Pierzchala and Kristen and Richard Guzofski and by several nieces and a nephew. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
