Obituary of Helen Catherine (Sullivan) Kilduff

Helen C. (Sullivan) Kilduff, 88, of Peabody and formerly of Haverhill and Wethersfield, CT, died Sunday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the devoted wife of Robert Kilduff with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Bree) Sullivan. She was raised and educated in Haverhill, later lived in Wethersfield, CT and has spent the last 8 years living in Peabody. After graduating from Haverhill High School, she graduated from Burdett College. Helen worked as an executive secretary for over ten years, first at Little Brown Publishers and then Western Electric before she finally retired many years ago. Helen dedicated herself to her family and raising her three daughters. Besides her loving husband, Helen is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Martin Michelsen of South Windsor, CT., Judy and Jeff Mulligan of Merrimack, NH, and Cindy and Robert Stimson of Hingham, two sisters, Dorothy and her husband Frank Hill of Framingham, and Roberta Sullivan of Bradford and is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kevin, Steven, Kelsey, and Tessa Michelsen, Ryan, Jennifer, and Dan Mulligan, and Madeline and William Stimson and by several nieces and nephews. Helen was devoted to her extended family throughout her life. She was the sister of the late Mary Murnane and Ruth Miett. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Brooksby Village Chapel, 100 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helen's name to a charity of one's choice.
