Obituary of Kevin M. Foskett

Kevin M. Foskett PEABODY—Kevin M. Foskett, 52, beloved son of Paul Foskett of Peabody died as a result of injuries sustained when a vehicle struck his bicycle in Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday December 14, 2011. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Paul Foskett of Peabody and the late Patricia (Hamill). His new family moved to Peabody when he was eight, where he lived for 12 years. He graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1977. He was a very gifted and skilled carpenter. As an adventurous spirit, he traveled and worked throughout the country until enlisting in the United States Army for three years, and was an Airborne Ranger. He settled in Jacksonville, FL where he lived for the last 30 years. Kevin was a fix-up specialist whose work was praised by many over the years. He was a master at playing pool, and enjoyed a free spirited life and gave generously of his time and talents to others. Preceded in death by his step-mother Dorothy (Brown) Foskett and a brother Douglas Foskett, he is survived by his father, Paul Foskett of Peabody; a son, Daniel Foskett of Hernando, FL; his brothers and sisters, Christine Brown of Cape Neddick, ME, Michelle Rose of Boxford, Paul Rose of Boston, Michael Rose of Salem, Jeffrey Foskett of Peabody, Kurt Foskett of Wichita Falls, TX, and Melanie Maxham of Peabody; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to his Funeral Service on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 8:30 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
