Obituary of Arlene L (Dixon) Kastanko
Arlene L (Dixon) Kastanko, 83, of Peabody, died early Tuesday morning at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the former wife of Robert Kastanko of Peabody.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Esther (Jones) Dixon. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School.
Arlene worked for over five years as an assembler for the Jasco Aluminum Company of Peabody. Arlene also enjoyed playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Peabody. She was a fun loving and caring person who enjoyed being with her friends and families. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her three sons, Robert Kastanko of Seabrook, NH, Ronald Kastanko of Danvers, and Bruce Kastanko of Alabama, her two daughters, Linda Kastanko of Beverly and Karen Kastanko of Peabody, her brother, Bob Dixon of Salem, and is also survived by four grandchildren, Jamie Carbone, and Shawn, Tasha, and Justin Kastanko, and a great grandson, Jeffrey Hernandes, Jr.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
