Obituary of Beverly M. (Batchelder) Arsenault
Beverly M. (Batchelder) Arsenault, 68, of Peabody formerly of Malden, beloved wife of William Arsenault, died on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her caring family.
Beverly was born in Boston on September 5, 1943 the loving daughter of Gilbert and Anna (Reidy) Batchelder. She was raised and educated in Boston. Prior to moving to Peabody in 2001, she resided in Malden.
Beverly was employed for 12 years as an assembler at Time Warner Cable in Medford and Somerville. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to creating a home for her family. She later cared for her cherished grandchildren and was so proud of their achievements. Many will remember Beverly as the lunch lady at Malden High School, and as an avid candle pin bowler at Circle Rte 1, Melrose and Wakefield Bowladrome.
In addition to her devoted husband Bill with whom she shared 49 years of marriage, Beverly was the loving mother of Michael Arsenault of Tewksbury, Sharon Leazott and her husband John, and Steven Arsenault all of Peabody; cherished grandmother of Tori and Jared Leazott of Peabody; loving sister of Gilbert Batchelder and his wife Elaine of Halifax; special friend of Mary Walsh of Pelham, NH and of Mark Morrison of OR; and caring aunt to many nieces, nephews, and her many friends. Beverly was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Sarno.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 8:45 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
