Obituary of Michael C Vayeos

Michael C. Vayeos, 48, of Beverly and formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Saturday evening at Beverly Hospital. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Harry Vayeos of Lynn and Cynthia (Vounatsos) Gikas of Danvers. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1981. He has lived in Beverly for the past 2 years. Michael worked throughout the North Shore as a Cadillac salesman. He enjoyed coin collecting and enjoyed tinkering with computers. Besides his parents, Michael is survived by his daughter, Alexia of Beverly, his two sisters, Joanna Gikas of Danvers and Vanessa Bornstein of Boynton Beach, FL. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Paleologos St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
