Obituary of Frederick J. Felch

Frederick J. Felch, 59, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died suddenly on Monday March 26, 2012 in Puerta, Vallarta, Mexico. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Frederick and Edna (Dowdell) Felch. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1971. Frederick first started working as a phlebotomist at the former Lynn Hospital, and then continued as a counselor at the Pine Street Inn in Boston, and finally, before retiring, he worked as an administrator for Project Trust Boston. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia and her husband Alan Wolff of Peabody and Marilyn Geyer of Seminole, FL., brother of the late Richard Felch and brother-in-law of Dorothy Felch of Beverly, his also survived by two nieces, Kelly and her husband Alfred “Bo” Porcaro of Peabody and Christine and her husband Timothy Corning of Grafton, three nephews, Richard and his wife Lisa Felch of Pittsboro, NC, Alan and his wife Danielle Wolff of Plaistow, NH, and Sean and his wife Sabrina Geyer of Peabody and is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fredericks name to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118.
