Obituary of Bernice Lorraine (Tudal) Sigman

Bernice “Lorraine” ( Tudal) Sigman PEABODY—Bernice “Lorraine” (Tudal) Sigman, 84, beloved wife of the late Armond “Babe” Sigman, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody on Easter Sunday April 8, 2012. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Auguste and Marie (Saulnier) Tudal. She grew up in Lynn, and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. Mrs. Sigman worked with the former B.B. Chemical Plant, now named Bostik Corporation of Middleton for 30 years before retiring in 1987. She was a very devoted and faith-filled woman, very active in St. Adelaide’s Church of Peabody. An avid reader, she enjoyed social gatherings and loved talking about politics. Since she and her husband had no children, they became the adopted “aunt & uncle” for all the neighborhood children. She also enjoyed taking short trips with her husband. She is survived by one sister, Gloria & her husband Timothy Cormier of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Euis Tudal, Arnold Tudal, and Rene Tudal, Marjorie Muse, and Francine Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday morning April 13, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in St. Jean’s Cemetery, Lynn.
