Obituary of Wayne W. Emrich

Peabody, February 24, 2002. Wayne W. Emrich, 49, of Baldwin St., Peabody, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at his home. He was the husband of the late Denise Knight. Born in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of Harold L. Emrich and the late Marguerite (Williams) Emrich. He had lived in Peabody for most of his life and had attended Peabody Public Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1971. He was a veteran who served during the Vietnam Era with the United States Air Force. He later had worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail hander for over 25 years, prior to his illness. Besides his father he is survived by a brother, Dick Emrich of North Reading; a sister, Cidney Emrich of Lynn, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. His funeral service will be held on Thursday @ 11:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility (978) 531-0398, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
