Obituary of Ferbynell T (Taylor) Eddins
Ferbynell T. (Taylor) Eddins, 88, of Merrimac, died Sunday morning at Amesbury Village following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Eddins, Jr.
Born in Ashly, VA, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Stella (Slover) Taylor. She worked as a waitress at Denny’s Restaurant in Danvers and worked in the catering business as well.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Simmons of Merrimac, James Keith and his wife Debra Simmons of Ringgold, VA, and Donald Simmons of Austin, TX., her two step daughters, Bishop Shakyra and her husband Richard Palmer of PA., and Gloria J. Harris of Lynn, and is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Max and William Hull, Kathleen Simmers and Glenna Moser, and step mother of the late Earl Eddins and Doretha Barron.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
