I'm so sorry for your loss Neil Family. Jim was a mentor to me when I first came to St. Paul's Episcopal Church 15 years ago. In serving with him on Vestry, I always found him to be kind, thoughtful, humorous, dedicated and honorable. Later I got to serve with Jeff and now with Jennifer and it is no surprise that all those same qualities are alive and well in his children. I've already passed on my favorite memory of Jim to Jeff, but I'll share it here as well. When I would give him the sign of peace during Sunday service, if I just said "peace" when I shook his hand, he would always say back to me "piece of what?, piece of cake?" I forever think of him when I pass along the peace especially with people who are sitting in "his pew". I've missed his crazy ties and smile over the past few years and now, I'll miss them for always. Peace be with you now and forever Jim Neil.
