Obituary of Everett L. Kennison, Jr

Everett L. Kennison, Jr., 50, of Peabody, died Monday at Union Hospital in Lynn following a brief illness. He was the husband of Donna Armstrong of Lynn. Born in Winthrop, he was the son of Louise (Somers) Kennison of Peabody and the late Everett L. Kennison, Sr., He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1979. After high school, Everett enlisted with the United States Marine Corps and served until 1986. He later entered the US Army in 1995 for a year and before going into the Army reserve. Following his military service, Everett worked as nurse for various nursing homes throughout the North Shore. Besides his mother and wife, he is survived by his children, Justin Armstrong of Manchester, NH, Brina Armstrong of Lynn and Tiffany and her husband Mark of Gloucester, his brothers and sisters, David Kennison of Holden, James and his wife Roberta Kennison of Lynn, and Kim Brooks of Salem and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 AM and will be followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
