Obituary of Mary (Thomas) Provas

Mary (Thomas) Provas, 83, beloved wife of John Provas of Georgetown, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Kathy and George Poulopoulos of Boxford; cherished grandmother of Theo, Vanna, Deme, Maria and Pamela Poulopoulos and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Katherine (Makaratzis) Thomas and sister of the late Stephen, John and Gregory Thomas. Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a service at 10 a.m. in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
