Obituary of Ann F. "Nancy" (Morris) Wilkinson

Ann F. Nancy (Morris) Wilkinson, 77 years, wife of Louis D. Lou Wilkinson of Peabody died Wednesday morning at her home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Wilkinson was born April 1, 1925 in Peabody daughter of the late James F. and Katherine (Carroll) Morris. She was raised and educated in Peabody graduating from St. John’ s Girls High School class of 1943. Mrs. Wilkinson was employed as an office manager at the Children’ s Friend and Family Service in Salem for 20 years until her retirement in 1987. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Mary and Michael Mahoney of Topsfield and Carol and Fred Whitney of Salem; a son, James M. Wilkinson of Peabody; three grandchildren, Patrick, Jon and Julia Mahoney all of Topsfield; two nieces, Mary Ann Rowen of Salem and Joanne Demers of North Reading. She was also the sister of the late Eleanor Rowen and Mary Mae Tully. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody location followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 17R Chestnut St., Peabody, MA 01960.
