Obituary of Ralph E. Ferguson

Ralph E. Ferguson PEABODY—Ralph E. Ferguson, 62, passed away suddenly on Saturday May 26, 2012 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Raymond & Elsie (Platt) Ferguson, and was a lifelong resident of the city. He graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1970. Mr. Ferguson worked for Cressey-Dockham in North Andover for 19 years, then was a Cab Driver for Community Taxi and Tri-City Taxi covering the Greater Peabody and North Shore area. Ralph was a member of the VFW Post 1011 Men’s Auxilliary of Peabody and the Italian-American Club of Peabody. He was an avid Boston sports fan, and especially liked the Red Sox. He is survived by a brother Scott Ferguson of Calais, ME; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Ferguson of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Mary Ellen’s husband, the late Douglas Ferguson, and Rick Ferguson, and a sister Jannine. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Thursday May 31, 2012 from 10:30 to 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, and attend his Funeral Service at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
