Louise A. (Ciman) Bick
PEABODY—Louise A. (Ciman) Bick, 91, wife of the late Anthony Bick, died peacefully on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Natale and Maria (Cassanello) Ciman. She attended Peabody schools and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Bick worked in the Supply Department at Salem Hospital and retired in 1986.
Louise was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody, enjoyed dancing, movies and was a member of the Italian-American Club of Peabody. On behalf of Louise’s family, they offer heart-felt appreciation for the care received from Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston and staff at Rosewood Skilled Nursing Center.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Jean & her husband Michael Bentas of Peabody, Paul and Peter Bick both of Ayer, and Brian & his wife Carissa Bick of Peabody, and Tammy & her husband James Sheedy; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Kayla Bentas and Patrick Bick; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Natalie & her husband Harry Vitale of Peabody; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Bick of Peabody; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Ciman of Danvers and Marie Harney of Peabody, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by three sons, Peter, Russell, and Anthony Bick; by brothers Argonne and Leo Ciman, and a sister Angela Ciman.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday June 8, 2012 for a visitation from 1 – 2 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 2 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Memorial donations may be made to the Kayla’s Vision Fund, c/o People’s United Bank, 1 Conant St., Danvers, MA 01923.
