Obituary of Quintin E. Koehler

Quintin E. Koehler BILLERICA—Quintin E. Koehler, 22, died suddenly on Saturday July 7, 2012 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center Hospital in Burlington. His family offered a comforting presence at that time. His family were comforted knowing that through the efforts of the New England Organ Bank, some good would come out of this tragedy by offering his heart and other vital organs that can be used to help others survive. Born in Methuen, he was the son of Daniel S. Koehler and Lisa Ann Messina. He grew up in a small town in northern Maine and in Kennebunk, ME. He then moved back to Massachusetts and lived in Billerica. Mr. Koehler worked in the shipping and receiving department of FedEx in Woburn. Quintin enjoyed doing outdoors activities like ATV Four-Wheeling, camping, fishing, hunting and simply hanging with family and friends. He loved working with his hands, landscaping, and welding. He is survived by his parents, Dan Koehler, and Lisa Ann (Messina) Koehler; a brother, Ryan Koehler and sister Jamie Koehler & her family; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Koehler & the late William G. Koehler; his maternal grandparents Mario & his wife Tricia (Moore) Messina and Maryann (Turcotte) Messina; a step-great-grandmother, Theresa Moore; three uncles Ron, Mario & his wife Makenzie, and Eric, and other loving family members and friends. Following cremation, relatives and friends may gather on Friday at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 PM in the Calvary Christian Church, Grove St., Lynnfield.
