Obituary of Lisa J. (Ciarametaro) Barrasso
Lisa J. (Mc Donnell) (Ciarametaro) Barrasso, R.N., 47, of Peabody, died peacefully Thursday evening with her family by her side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a two year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Joseph Barrasso.
She has born in Beverly, MA on March 22, 1965, the daughter of Adele D. (Dinardo) Mc Donnell of Peabody and the late Peabody Deputy Fire Chief James J. Mc Donnell and had resided in Peabody most of her life. She was a graduate of Peabody Vets. Memorial High School in 1983 and attended Endicott College. She then entered Boston College School of Nursing receiving her degree in 1988.
Lisa had been employed at the Beth Israel / Deaconess Medical Center, Boston in the Emergency Department for the past 20 years prior to her disability retirement. She loved to cook and had been a member of the MA Nursing Association. Lisa enjoyed working out at the Boston North Sports Complex but her main love was caring for and being with her family which she loved so much. Lisa’s family is very appreciative of the care and dedication shown to Lisa by the Lahey Clinic Medical Center oncology unit in Peabody.
Lisa is survived by her mother and her husband, Joseph, and her daughter, Emily Ciarametaro all of Peabody, her brother and sister-in-law, James and Cathy Mc Donnell of Peabody, her sisters and brother-in-laws, Marie and Robert Finger of Brockton, Judith and Charles Lincicum of Danvers, Susan and Stephen O’Leary of No Reading, and Ellen Mc Donnell and David Temple of Wakefield, her former husband, Christopher Ciarametaro and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and many loving cousins and her Beth Israel/ Deaconess family friends. Lisa was the mother of the late Rachael Ciarametaro.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
