Obituary of Norman L Wright
Norman L. Wright, 93, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died early Wednesday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband if the late Eldora (Dolley) Wright.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Wilkins) Wright. He was raised and educated inLynnand has spent the last 57 years living in Peabody.
Norman was a veteran of World War II who served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1945. After the war, he worked for over 36 years as a foreman for the Kline Ladder Company inLynnbefore he retired in 1980. Norman enjoyed traveling and building stick doll houses.
Normanis survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lillian Wright of Peabody, Ronald Wright of Maryland, and Tomascine Wright of Alabama, two grandchildren, Robert Wright and Wendy Wright of AL and also by three great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Roger Wright and brother of the late Horace Wright and Dorothy Johnson and grandfather of the late Kevin Wright.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Burial will be in PineGroveCemetery, Lynn.
