Obituary of Debra Ann Birmingham

Debra Ann Birmingham, 54, of Peabody, died early Wednesday morning at theBeth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston following a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Austin Frank and Ann (Libby)Birmingham. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1976. Debbie worked for the Hotwatt Company in Danvers for over 35 years and held several different positions, the last of which was as an IT Manager before her illness. Debbie was a free spirit who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, traveling, reading, and enjoyed sitting around the campfire, but what she most enjoyed was the time she spent with her family, especially her dog Lizzy. She is survived by her son, Adam Vaillancourt of Peabody, her daughter, Jamie Vaillancourt ofSalem, her two sisters, Diane Triplett of Haverhill and Nancy Harrison of Beverly, six nephews, and her life long friend Barb Hubley of Dorchester. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabodyfollowed by services at 10:00 AM at the graveside at PuritanLawnMemorial Park, Lake St., Peabodyto which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.
