Obituary of Sharon Marie (Babiarz) Hewitt

Sharon Marie (Barbiarz) Hewitt, 45, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her home after a series of extended illnesses. She was the devoted wife of Elliott E. Hewitt Jr. Sharon was born in Salem,MA on December 20, 1966, the daughter of Robert and Sandra (McGrane) Babiarz and was raised in Hamilton graduating from Hamilton-Wenham High School in 1984. She received her Associate Degree in Accounting from North Shore Community College and was first employed as a bookkeeper in the office of Anthony’s By the Sea Restaurant in Swampscott for 5 years. Later she worked in the office at the Abbey Home Health Care Company inWoburnfor five years. She loved boating with her family on the North Shore and skiing up at the White Mountain ranges. She also enjoyed reading, and knitting, but her real love was caring for and nurturing her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Elliott E. Hewitt Jr. her cherished daughter, Emily Ann Hewitt , and her loving parents, Robert and Sandra (McGrane) Babiarz all of Peabody, her devoted sisters and and their spouses, Christine and Loukas Nakos of Nashua,NH, and Andrea and Erik Eagleston of Merrimack, NH. Her admired sister and brother in law, Linda and Daniel Roberts of Nottingham, NH, her brothers-in-law, William and Gary Bona of Hamilton, her father-in-law, Elliot Hewitt of Hamilton, MA, a special friend, Roberta Battite of Wilmington and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., West Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
