Obituary of Florence (Larrabee) Bongette

Florence (Larrabee) Bongette, 94 of South Peabody, died Wednesday evening at the Rainbow Nursing Home in Peabody after a very brief illness. She was the wife of the late Adam Bongette. She was born in Peabody on April 16, 1911 the daughter of the late Albert and Sarah (Felch) Larrabee and was a life long resident of Peabody. She was a graduate of Peabody High School and had been a homemaker and a member of the Second Congregational Church. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Tracchia of Peabody, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Annette Bongette of Hamilton, a dear niece, Virginia LeBoeuf of Peabody, her grandchildren, Edward, Richard and John Tracchia, Dawn Bartlett and her husband Thomas, Brian and Karen Gauthier all of Peabody, Pamela Walker and her husband James of Warwick, RI, Patti Ostrowski and husband Robert of Largo, FL, Lindsey Bongette of Hamilton and Kathleen Erkkila and her husband Eric of Winthrop, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Folsom, George, Clarence, Joseph and Franklin Larrabee. A Private Committal service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Haven from Hungar, 71 Wallis St., Peabody Ma 01960 in her memory.
