Obituary of Felix C. Iacoviello

Felix C. Iacoviello, 90, of South Peabody, died Thursday , October 11, 2012 at the NSMC Salem Hospital after a short illness. He was the beloved husband of 63 years of Doris (LeBlanc) Iacoviello. He was born inRevere,MA on July 30, 1922, the son of the late Carmine and Carmela (Marciello) Iacoviello and was raised in Chelsea and had resided in Peabody for the past 62 years. Following his graduation from Chelsea High, he entered the US Army in July, 1945 serving until his discharge in 1947. He then was employed as a foreman at the former Weinstein Shoe Company in Lynn. He later became a custodian for over 30 years with the Peabody School Department retiring in 1987. Felix had been a member of the Italian American Citizens Club of Peabody and the Peabody- Lynn Lodge of Elks # 1409. He had been a volunteer for many years at thePeabody Senior Center and had been a communicant ofSt. Ann’s Church. He is survived by his Wife, Doris of Peabody, a daughter, Karen Iacoviello Burke of Peabody, a grandson, William “Bill” Pappas of Winter Spring, FL, two grandchildren, Johnathon and Jaydon Pappas of Winter Spring, Fl, his two sisters, Helena Yannetti of Chelsea and Carmela Ciliani of Phoenix, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Louigi, Frank and John Iacoviello and Angie Sloan. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
