Obituary of Helen C. "Honey" (Eagan) Berry

Helen C. “Honey” (Eagan) Berry died peacefully on October 9, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her loving family at her side. A life-long resident of Peabody, she was the wife of the late Philip L. Berry who died in 1998. She was the devoted mother of four children, Judy Fairbank and her husband, Win, of N. Dighton, MA, Cynthia Luma of Kittery,ME, State Senator Fred Berry and his wife, Gayle, of Peabody,MA, and the late Stephen Berry, who predeceased her in 1996. She was also the beloved grandmother of ten and great grandmother of fourteen. She also leaves a large extended family of many close nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Honey’s greatest pleasure, other than her family, was always her golf. An avid player, she was a member of Wenham Golf Club for forty years and had many wonderful memories of good friends and happy time involving the game. At the family’s request, her funeral services are private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Harborlight Community Partners / H.E.A.R.T. House, P.O. Box 507, Beverly, MA, 01915.
