Obituary of Kathleen A. Linehan

Kathleen A. Linehan, 62, of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, died Wednesday evening at the Beverly Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Salem, MA on June 2, 1950, the daughter of the late William F. and Alice G. (McCarthy) Linehan and was raised and educated in Peabody graduating from PeabodyHigh School in 1969. She was first employed in Retail as a sales clerk at the former Almy’s Store at the NorthShore Shopping Center,Peabody. She later worked at the former J.B.Thomas Hospital in the dietary department for four years prior to her illness. Kathleen enjoyed watching baseball and her siblings playing the game and rooting for them. She is survived by her four brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Susan Linehan Jr. and Gary and Elaine Linehan all of Peabody, James and Kathy Linehan of Kennesaw, GA and Jeffrey and Susan Linehan of Salem, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
